The National Assembly would convene its Fourth Ordinary Session in the 2022 Legislative Year from 14th November to 23rd December 2022, a statement from the office of the clerk said.
According to the statement, during the period (Budget Session), Hon. members would consider the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure of the Government of The Gambia for the fiscal year 2023.
Members would also consider other businesses such as questions to Hon. Ministers for oral answers, reports of various committees and parliamentary delegations, motions and bills, the statement added.
It continued that daily sitting would start at 10:00 am prompt, and the public is reminded to comply with the standard dress code (traditional/suit) required and to also observe the silence rule during proceedings of the session.
