Mr. Gibou Jagne, one time Chairman of the Interim Committee of Kanifing Municipal Council has died today.
He died after a brief illness according to a source.
The council has expressed its heartfelt sorrow at the the passing of Jagne, one time Chairman of its Interim Committee.
“Gibou served the Kanifing Municipal Council with distinction.
“On behalf of the Council, Management, Staff, and residents of the Kanifing Municipality, we extend our most heartfelt condolences to the Njagnen Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time,” KMC said of him in a statement on Facebook.
