Gambian Amputee Footballer who signed a professional contract with Konya Disabled Force Sports Club in the Turkish First Division League
Gambian Amputee Footballer, Bubacarr Camarahas signed a professional contract with the Turkish First Division League side, Konya Disabled Force Sports Club.
“We are pleased to inform our stakeholders, partners and our followers. Bubacarr Camara has been the first Gambian Amputee Footballer to sign a professional contract with Konya Disabled Force Sports Club in (the) Turkish First Division League. We are wishing him luck in his Career,” Gambia Amputee Football Association said in a statement on Thursday.
Prior to this development, on 8th March 2022, the Turkish amputee football team that was established in 2007, invited Bubacarr Camara and his colleague (Ousman Jatta) to the Turkish Amputees’ Football Super League.
The Gambia Amputees’ Football Association on 9thMarch 2022 welcomed the invitation and described it as a ‘great and happy moment’ for the families of its members.
