Young Gambian Movie actor Jr has been crowned Africa’s ‘Best International Young Actor of the Year 2021’.
The ceremony took place in Sierra Leone on Friday.
“After been so frustrated about the fundraiser which was set-up by Ousman Manjang for us to witness the AFRICA MOVIE ICONS AND CELEBRITY AWARDS IN SIERRA LEONE 2021. When I knew it wouldn’t be possible, I left NIGERIA, passed 6 countries to go attend this Award Ceremony. And last night (Friday), I covered myself with The Gambian flag to show the whole world that The Gambia has talent. Africa Movie Icons and Celebrity Awards awarded me as The Best International Young Actor of the Year and The Unfaithful Girl was awarded as The Best Student Film in Africa 2021.
“I got crowned as the International Ambassador of AMICA. Words just can’t describe how delighted I’m, want to thank everyone for their support and trust in me. I’m more than grateful. Let’s support The Gambia movie industry and we will surely get there. To all those that donated to the fundraiser thanks so very much God bless you all,” he reacted on on Facebook.
The award ceremony took place in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone on Friday.
