The Diaspora Club, an organization of Gambians in US and Europe, with a membership of about 2000, is geared towards supporting Gambia in areas of development to help compliment Governments effort in providing the basic amenities for people especially the less privileged, women and children.
Over the recent years, the Gambia’s health care system has not been strong in cases relating to equipment’s and resource persons. This issue has prompted the Diaspora Club to set up a series of activities to raise fund to help the Gambia’s health care system.
A Gala Dinner and football tournament were activities lined up to gather proceeds for the worthy cause.
A gruesome amount was donated to the hospital to help with maternity beds and equipment’s for a swift flow of work in the hospital.The Gambian people appreciate the Club’s kind gesture and wish them the best in their endeavors.
