In the wake of recent armed robbery incidents in the Central River Region (CRR), Governor Ousman Bah has called for increased financial security measures and the establishment of additional bank branches to enhance community safety.
Addressing the growing concerns, Governor Bah emphasized the importance of accessibility to financial services in reducing the region’s vulnerability to crime.“In light of the recent armed robberies in the region, it is imperative for the authorities to recognize the pressing need for increased financial security and accessibility by establishing additional bank branches throughout the region. This will help minimize vulnerability to crime and foster a sense of security. I want to assure the residents of Central River Region that we are taking this incident seriously. The authorities are actively collaborating with law enforcement to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice swiftly,” Governor Bah stated.
