The consideration of the Anti-Corruption Bill by the National Assembly Members has been adjourned to tomorrow, Wednesday, 29th March 2023 for continuation.
It could be recalled that sometime last week, the consideration of the Anti-corruption Bill could not proceed due to inconsistencies spotted by the NAMs on the different copies of the Bill. The Bill, however, resumes before the National Assembly for consideration yesterday and today.
The National Assembly Members, today, spent hours considering the Bill clause by clause but could not finish it before their closing time for the day. Deputy Speaker, Hon Seedy S. K. Njie, who was the acting Speaker of the day, adjourned the consideration until tomorrow for continuation.
