Captain of Gambian Athletes at the Commonwealth Games

The Captain of Gambian athletes, Adama Jammeh, with Sengan Jobe and Alieu Joof missed 200m semi-final spot at the ongoing Commonwealth Games.
“The trio couldn’t make with a timing registered in their respective heats.We now fight in the 4×100 relay heats on Friday,” GNOC confirmed.
Earlier today in the female category, Gina Bass and Wurie Njadoe booked their places in the semi-finals of the 200m.
Meanwhile, Joduka Faye Njie won the maiden silver medal for the country in the final of men’s 73kg on Tuesday.
