The security guard allegedly accused of being the killer of two officers

Yankuba Darboe, the Chairman of the Brikama Area Council, has released a photo of his security personnel in an effort to refute allegations that a member of his security detail is the alleged killer of two police officers at the Sukuta-Jabang junction.
“This is the picture of my security detail personnel that the Gambia Police Force, the Gambia Government spokesperson, and their social media surrogates are peddling to be Ousainou Bojang (the cop killer) at my last court hearing in Banjul. He is clearly not Ousainou Bojang! This harassment and political persecution by the Gambia Police Force in the pretext of criminal investigation has to stop! We are politicians and not criminals!!!,” he said through his Facebook page.
The government spokesperson, Ebrima G. Sankareh, alleged on Coffee Time with Peter Gomez that the alleged killer of the two PIU officers is a security officer at Brikama Area Council and was present during the last court appearance of chairman Yankuba Darboe in Banjul. However, the National Security Adviser contradicted this allegation at a press conference held to update the public on the status of the investigations.
