President Adama Barrow has urged everyone to take part in the development of the nation, despite their differences.

“You can say that I don’t like President Barrow, but you can’t say that he is not working. You can say that I’m not supporting President Barrow, but you should support your country. You should take part in the development of the country. Everybody is seeing the work that I am doing. That is why I talk about my work because everybody sees what I have done

He made the remarks on 22nd November 2022 at a joint meeting in Gunjur in the Lower Baddibou, North Bank Region on day two of his ongoing “meet the people tour”.

The tour, which began on Monday (21st November 2022), would last until 11th December 2022, according to the schedule.

Section 222 (15) of the 1997 Constitution empowers the President to undertake a nation-wide tour at least twice a year in order to familiarise himself with current conditions and the effects of government policies.
