President-elect Adama Barrow yesterday afternoon received the President of Togo, Ghana and Sierra Leone ahead of his inauguration scheduled for today.
H.E. Faure Essozimma Gnassingbe of the Republic of Togo; H.E. Julius Maada Bio of the Republic of Sierra Leone; and H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo of the Republic of Ghana arrived in the country on Tuesday afternoon, in honour of the invitation of their counterpart President Barrow to grace his Wednesday inauguration.
Early on Tuesday, Barrow received H.E. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazoauni of the Republic of Mauritania and H.E. Umaro Sissoco Embalo of the Republic of Guinea Bissau.
Meanwhile, H.E. Macky Sall of the Republic of Senegal; H.E. Mahammadu Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and H.E. George Manneh Weah of the Republic of Liberia are the heads of state invited for the Wednesday inauguration at the Independence Stadium.
President Adama Barrow will be sworn into office for a second term after winning re-election in the December 4, 2021, presidential election.
