President-elect Adama Barrow this afternoon received the President of Mauritania and Guinea Bissau ahead of his inauguration scheduled for tomorrow.
H.E. Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazoauni of the Republic of Mauritania and H.E. Umaro Sissoco Embalo of the Republic of Guinea Bissau arrived in the country in honour of the invitations of their counterpart President Barrow to grace his inauguration with him.
H.E. Faure Essozimma Gnassingbe of Togo; H.E. Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone; H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana; H.E. Macky Sall of Senegal; H.E. Mahammadu Buhari of Nigeria; and H.E. George Manneh Weah of Liberia are the other heads of state invited for the Wednesday inauguration at the Independence Stadium.
President Adama Barrow will be sworn into office for a second term after winning re-election in the December 4, 2021, presidential election.
