President Adama Barrow has again called on the youth to engage in agriculture as a business venture.
He made the same call on able-bodied citizens of the country on Friday night.
“Agriculture is vital for our food security and survival. At the same time, we also benefit from it for subsistence. Therefore, I will seize this opportunity, as I always do, to call on the youth and all able-bodied citizens to engage in agriculture as a business venture,” he reiterated his call on youth and able-bodied citizens.
Barrow reiterated the calls during his address to the nation on Friday night amid the windstorm that hit several parts of the country on Wednesday night killing 10, and affected more than 3 thousand individuals, mainly in the North Bank Region.
