Touma Njie, the National Assembly Member for Banjul South Constituency has endorsed Talib Ahmed Bensouda ahead of the local government elections.
She wrote on her Twitter handle on Wednesday; “Having listened to his Audio. I have officially endorsed him for KMC. Talib is a leader. Good luck . We shall give in our all for your re-election. It’s deserved”.
Talib Ahmed Bensouda is the incumbent mayor of the Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC). Current minister of Youth and sports Bakary Badjie recently revealed that he will be the candidate for the National People’s Party (NPP) to challenge Talib.
