Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in Collaboration with FARD, presented Social safety nets and Sanitary materials to hundred families in the Communities of Kampasa and Chewell.
The donated items include Rice, Sugar, Cooking Oil, Salt, Beans and Soap.
Speaking at the Presentation ceremony held at Kampasa Village, Emmanuel Tetteh, Country Director, ADRA said the support is part of their emergency initiative response to Covid-19, intended for KMC, WCR, and CRR North. He however acknowledged the role of FARD in helping them identify and facilitate the process in the most suitable position.
Lt Gen Rtd LangTombong Tamba, Chairman of FARD expressed gratitude to ADRA for reaching out to FARD, describing the partnership as strong. He seized the opportunity to advocate the concept of FARD and urged the Communities to adhere to the health measurements as outlined by the experts.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude one after the other for the great gesture describing it as timely and impactful.
Also present at the event was, FARD Executive members, NDMA and Regional Emergency Task force Committee.
