Car involved in an accident (not the accident in Kiang)

The Gambia Police Force (GPF) has confirmed that three people who were involved in a car accident in Kiang Kaiaf have died.
“The Police in Mansakonko responded to a tragic accident on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, involving a taxi near Kiang Kaiaf village. The accident resulted in the immediate death of three individuals—two females and one male,” the police reported.
The police reported that the victims were quickly taken to Soma Hospital for emergency medical care. “Sadly, upon arrival, three of them, identified as Hawa Ceesay, Mam Sirrah Secka, and Omar Secka, were confirmed dead. The driver, Madi Secka, is currently receiving treatment, while Sheikh Secka has been referred to Farafenni for further medical care,” police said.
The Gambia Police Force urged all road users, especially those traveling back from the “Gamou,” to exercise caution and drive responsibly to prevent such unfortunate incidents.
