The Mayor of Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC) Talib Ahmed Bensouda describes his Kanifing Environmental Transformation Program – KETP funded study tour in Peterborough City, UK as ‘productive’ as it ends on to Thursday.
“A productive week in the UK as we end our Kanifing Environmental Transformation Program – KETP funded study tour in Peterborough City. We were hosted by City Leader Wayne Fitzgerald with productive meetings and connections with various city officials in waste to energy and planning departments,” the Mayor wrote on Thursday.
The KMC Mayor also says he was also invited to London by Prime Minister Tony Blair who he said pledged support from his Institute to solicit funding for KM project plans in :
– Solid Waste Processing
– Municpal Market Expansion
– Road Network projects
– Urban Transportation
– Affordable Housing
“We also planned productive meetings with British Investment International and the Oversees Development institute to attract capital and finance for council projects,” he concluded.
The Mayor of Kanifing Municipal Council (KMC) is currently on a tour in the United Kingdom.
