Three male Sierra Leoneans are being detained, following their arrest on suspicion of trafficking some quantities of suspected cocaine.

A 30-year old, 21-year old, and 25-year old resident in London Corner were on 8th October 2022 arrested with quantities of suspected cocaine concealed in a blue nylon bag, according to a DLEAG statement dated 13th October.

The Spokesperson of The Gambia’s Drug Law Enforcement Agency (DLEAG) told this medium that the trio are still being held because they are yet to fulfil the conditions of bail extended to them.

“Bail has been opened for them. But they are unable to fulfil the bail condition,” Ousman Saidybah told Kerr Fatou.

A Gambian surety and a title deed are part of the conditions of the bail extended to the 30-year old, 21-year old, and 25-year Sierra Leoneans being detained on suspicion of trafficking some quantities of suspected cocaine.
