The University of the Gambia is set to graduate 1, 134 students at its 14th Convocation slated for 5th March in Bijilo.
“The 1, 134 graduands for both undergraduate and postgraduate are drawn from all schools/faculties of the University of The Gambia with degrees in Law, Public Administration, Economics, Medicine, Nursing, Public health, Journalism, Computer Science, Agriculture, Mathematics, Political Science, Development Studies, English language, International Relations and Diplomacy, Information Systems among others,” the UTG Public Relations said in a statement obtained by this medium.
The University, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Staff, and Students, wished the more than 1000 graduands a successful convocation.
“Congratulations! Class of 2021,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, this would be the first UTG Convocation under Professor Herbert Robinson whose appointment as the fifth Vice Chancellor of the University was approved on 20 November 2021, and took effect in January 2022.
