African Volleyball President Meets Gambian President At State House

Confederation of African Volleyball President (CAVB), Madame Bouchra Hajij on Monday met with The Gambia’s President, Adama Barrow.
Madam Bouchra Hajij is currently in the country to preside over the 2022 Zone II General Assembly, and Zone II Beach Volleyball Championship hosted by Gambia Volleyball Federation.
President Barrow said they are very proud of the entire team of the Gambia Volleyball Federation and that his government would continue to give all support to sports in the country.
The Gambian leader reaffirmed his government’s support to the development of Volleyball in The Gambia and urged the Federation to remain supportive to the development of young ones.
“It is a pride for all Gambians, and I sincerely thank the technical team, the Federation and all the players for the efforts and relevant service to the nation,” the Gambian President said.
Meanwhile, the President of the Confederation of African Volleyball, Madame Bouchra Hajij thanked President Barrow for granting her audience; despite his tight schedule.
She assured President Barrow of CAVB’s readiness and willingness to support the development of volleyball in The Gambia and Zone II.
“I am so honoured to be here, and this is the beginning of a greater collaboration, and partnership between CAVB and Gambia,” the African Volleyball boss lady told the Gambian President.
The Monday meeting between President Adama Barrow, and CAVB President, Madame Bouchra Hajij took place at State House.
