AFCON U20: Young Scorpions secure slot at semifinals

The Gambia Under 20 are through to the semifinals of The AFCON after a comfortable 3-0 win over Central African Republic.
Wally Fofana opened the scoresheet for the Scorpions just four minutes into the game. Momodou Bojang added the second goal in the 49th minute of the second half, and Alieu Barry netted the third goal in the final minute of the game.
The Gambia will now face Ghana in the semifinal of the AFCON on Monday. It will be a repeat of their final group game in which the scorpions won 2-1.
Meanwhile, in the other quarterfinal, Ghana also won Cameroon 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the game.
