AFCON U20: The Young Scorpions qualify to quarter finals

The Gambia Under 20 team, the young Scorpions qualified to the AFCON quarter finals, after their first win in the tournament against Ghana.
Kajally Drammeh cancelled Issahaku ninth minute opener for Ghana in the sixteenth minute, and Lamarana Jallow who was awarded man of the match scored the winner for the scorpions in the thirty-third minute of the game.
The young scorpions will now face Central African Republic on Friday 26 february 2021.
The Scorpions had a slow start in the tournament, losing 1 nil to Morocco in their first game; and a disappointing 1-1 draw against Tanzania, before beating Ghana 2-1 today.
Despite the slow start, Gambia finished second in the group with four points and three goals, below Morocco who finished on top with seven points and three goals.
