Speaking at the rally, theGambia Democratic Congress leader, Mama Kandeh promised to facilitate the travelling of four thousand youth to overseas when elected in the December polls.
“If the people I discussed with did not fool me, after the election, if it is announced that we are winners of the election, we will have four thousand youth, that we (GDC government) will help to travel out of the country and not back away. I have already lobbied for it and discussion has already taken place. They have agreed that if we win that will happen. Ghana did it, they took ten thousand people to Canada and they are paid well. Some of them are earning Seven thousand dollars, monthly. We are not just talking but this is among the good gestures we have for the youth,” Mama Kandeh added.
An alliance of ‘APRC No To Alliance Movement’ (a faction of APRC party), the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC), and Gambia Action Party (GAP) are currently on a nationwide presidential election campaign ending on 2nd December 2021.
