Dr Baba Galleh Jallow, Executive Secretary of the Truth Reconciliation and Reparations Commission [TRRC] has announced on Facebook that his house was ransacked by an unknown individual.
Baba suspects that the person was either searching documents or something else, as the person only took a cell phone.
“I came home from work today and found my house ransacked. The pictures below show some of the mess created by the intruder. With the exception of a cell phone, nothing was taken from the house as far as I can tell. It seems to me that the intruder was searching for something – documents maybe – or something else,” Jallow said on Facebook
Mr Jallow said he did not feel threatened by the incident, but he only shared the news for public record.
Baba Galleh Jallow is a Gambian academician, journalist and currently the Executive Secretary of the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission.
