Shortly after laying the foundation for the construction of an office and residence for The Governor, the crowd attending the ceremony around the premises was suddenly attacked by swam of bees. The insects apparently must have been disturbed and threatened by a large preseñce of people and loud activity prompting them to fight back. A number of people were seen running helter skelter fleeing from the bees.
