Seven AfDB Executive Directors Visit The Gambia to Evaluate Project Impact

Seven Executive Directors from the African Development Bank (AfDB) are currently in The Gambia to evaluate the effectiveness of AfDB-funded projects and review the bank’s strategic partnerships within its member countries.
According to the government, “This evening, the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Seedy K.M Keita, received a high-level delegation of Seven (7) Executive Directors (EDs) from the African Development Bank (AfDB) as special guests of His Excellency Mr. Adama Barrow, the President of the Republic of The Gambia. As part of their duties, the Executive Directors conduct consultation missions to assess the effectiveness of the AfDB’s project portfolio and its strategic engagements within member countries,” the government said.
The government added that the visit seeks to gain a deeper understanding of the development experiences and priorities of regional member states.
