Sirra Touray, the wife of Mbemba Drammeh, has been asked to report to the Police Headquarters in Banjul for further questioning .
Speaking to Kerr Fatou, Touray confirmed that her visit to the Immigration Department today was in compliance with her bail conditions, and she was instructed to return on Friday. She explained that she received a call from a police officer yesterday, directing her to report to the police headquarters today.
“I am currently at the Headquarters in Banjul. I received a call yesterday from the police asking me to report today, but they have yet to provide any details,” she said.
Touray was previously questioned regarding Drammeh’s passport, which he is alleged to have obtained on January 20, 2025. After her questioning, she was granted bail, with a bond set at D100,000.
A family member revealed to Kerr Fatou that the investigation is focused on the circumstances surrounding the passport, which was reportedly handed to Touray.
The case remains under police investigation.
