Momodou Sabally, Former Campaign Manager of the United Democratic Party (UDP)

Momodou Sabally, the former campaign manager of the United Democratic Party (UDP), made an appearance at a National People’s Party (NPP) event where the ex-UDP executive member declared the NPP as the true people’s party and pledged to mobilize a significant influx of supporters into its fold.
Emphasizing his commitment to the NPP cause, Sabally expressed a determination to work tirelessly for the party’s recognition on a global scale. “Not Gambia, not Senegal, not Africa, I will work for the NPP until the entire world will know there is a party called the NPP and President Barrow is the leader. I will not belittle anyone or undermine your position. I am not in NPP to do something that others cannot do. I will work together with everyone to work for the country, and Dou Sannoh’s presence here shows the NPP is ready to join hands with Sabally to develop the country,” he declared.
Addressing the gathering, Sabally underscored his proactive approach to work, asserting, “One thing, I don’t wait for anyone when it’s time to work, even if my fuel cannot make it to Basse. This is not an exaggeration. So I don’t have any protocol in that. If I spot a particular place and I know is for development for President Barrow and people will join the NPP, I will not even inform President Barrow.”
The former UDP campaign manager claimed an overwhelming response and growing interest in the NPP from various quarters since his declaration of support for the party.
“Every day I have hundreds of missed calls from home and diaspora, and I want to tell all of them that my doors are open. I know people want to come and join the party. I know politicians; if I mention their names, there will be drumming in the state House. These are retired politicians, but they are now ready to come back to politics to help President Barrow since I announced my joining the NPP.
“So, President Barrow, please expand your bus to a double-deck or triple-deck if it was a single deck because people will not fit in the bus. People will come to the party, even youths who are in the Diaspora and not voting in the Gambia will associate themselves with the NPP. From Senegal, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Liberia to the United States of America.”
Concluding his remarks, Sabally proclaimed, “NPP is truly the People’s Party, and everybody will soon know.”
