The National Assembly Member for Lower Fulladu, Hon. Gibi Mballow, has called on the National Assembly to pass a resolution calling for the sacking of ministers who are not performing to expectations.
“The problem of this country is not the government, is about the National Assembly. Because we have the power to perform our oversight functions. We must make resolutions for certain Ministers to be sacked if we mean serious business
“But if we ourselves are failing, everything will fail, and I want us to be very strong in parliament. Let us be very strong and make regulations that would make some Ministers to be fired if they are not performing well,” he said.
The National Assembly Member made this remake at the National Assembly while debating on the president’s State of Nation Address speech. (SoNA)
