FaBB Foundation Receives Medical Equipment Worth D32 Million From Human Appeal Ireland

Her Excellency the First Lady of the Republic of the Gambia, Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow, received medical equipment from Human Appeal Ireland worth €500,000, which is equivalent to D32 million.
The First Lady’s Foundation confirmed on its Facebook page that it has received two 40ft containers of assorted medical equipment and surgical supplies from Human Appeal Ireland, presented by Imam Ebou Ndure at State House.
Mr. Ebou Ndure said the medical items are donated to the Gambian Hospitals through the FABB Foundation, which is under the leadership of the First Lady.
Mr. Ndure said the First Lady has been championing and supporting the health sector, especially women and children.
He said Human Appeal is happy to continue working with FABB Foundation to increase support in the health sector.
Board Member of FABB Foundation, Musa Ceesay, receiving the medical equipment on behalf of the Foundation, thanked Mr. Ndure for supporting the health sector.
He assured him that the medical items would be distributed to the various hospitals across the country.
