The Central Committee of the People’s Progressive Party (PPP), in a press statement, informed the general public and members of the party both home and abroad that applications are open for interested candidates for Mayor, Chairmanship, and Councillors for the forthcoming Local Government Elections.
“All interested applicants can collect the application forms from the regional offices, chairmen, or the National Administrative Secretary and his deputy. All application forms must be submitted on or before February 07th, 2023,” said the statement.
The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) are part of the coalition that led to the reelection of president Adama Barrow for a second term but their party was surprisingly excluded from a list of NPP partners for the upcoming Local Government Elections.
