The Alliance for Patriotic Re-orientation and Construction (APRC), has announced its National Executive team that will steer the affairs of the party for the next two years with the notable exclusion, for the first time, of former president and founder of APRC, Yahya Jammeh.
The party held its National Congress last month in Janjanbureh. And as stipulated in their party constitution, only the Chairman and Party Leader are elected at their congress, granting that individual the power to select other members to the party’s National Executive. In this year’s Janjabureh shindig, Hon. Alh. Fabakary Tombong Jatta was elected as their National Chairman and Party Leader.
Former President, Yahya Jammeh, who ruled the Gambia for 22yrs is the founder of APRC and he was until the December Congress in Janjanbureh their Supreme Party Leader.
