The Gambia’s Men Beach Volleyball team have qualified to the quarter-finals of the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
The Gambian team comprising the duo, Jawo and Jarra defeated Sri Lanka 2-1 to progress to the quarterfinals of the Commonwealth Games.
“Gambia men’s beach volleyball team made it to the quarter-finals after a thrilling 2-1 win over Sri Lanka,” GNOC confirmed on Facebook.
The duo would face off against Canada on Thursday for Pool A supremacy at Birmingham 2022.
