Gina Bass & Co Arrive In Birmingham

Africa’s fastest female sprinter, Gina Bass and her colleagues have arrived in Birmingham for the Commonwealth Games.
Gina Bass and her colleagues were stranded in France due to visa complications.
“The Team landed in Birmingham,” the Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) said in a statement on Facebook.
Gina Bass, Ebrima Camara, Alieu Joof and Abdourahman Ceesay leaving behind Adama Jammeh and Sengan Jobe.
However, GNOC statement added that both Adama Jammeh and Sengan Jobe receive their Visas and are on their way to Birmingham.
“Our last contingent in France Adama Jammeh and Sengan Jobe also received their visas and are enroute to Birmingham,” GNOC said.
It is yet to be confirmed if Gina Bass would be participating in the 100m heat schedule to take place later today.
The games that began on 28th July are scheduled to end on 8th August.
