Kerr Fatou is reliably informed that lawyer Essa M. Faal and Comedian Baba are charged with “Idle and Disorderly Conduct” at the Brusubi Police Station.
Our source further revealed that the person who allegedly assaulted Baba Jah is also charged with assault.
Essa Faal is currently at the Brusubi Police Station with his Lawyer Abdoulie Fatty; while prominent NPP supporter and Presidential Youth Adviser Saihou Mballow is also seen at the station.
In a viral video, Essa Faal who contested in the 2021 presidential election under an independent ticket was verbally assaulted by Baba Jah on Saturday night.
Baba Jah, a comedian and an online commentator could be heard in the video calling Essa Faal a “criminal Lawyer” and hurling insults at his parents.
Jah also accused the former TRRC lead counsel of mobilising a group to beat him up after calling him ‘a liar’.
Essa Faal is not seen attacking or insulting in the entire video that went viral on social media in the early hours of Sunday morning. However, a group of men alighted from a vehicle and got into a verbal and physical altercation with Baba Jah who could be heard in the latter part of the video saying he got hit by one of the men.
